Pirates and Damsels - Having Fun With Spicy and Romantic Role Play Ideas

To encourage that adventurous romance, that spark, that special something that was so exciting in the early days of your relationship, it helps to try something a little out of the ordinary - role play! While not every partner will go along with this, it helps to warm things up. If she reads romance books, buy a leather jerkin and threaten to steal her away on your steed. Drop hints that she's the princess you've always wanted to pillage for. If you need to approach your man, hinting at your fantasies of being taken by a pirate may fire up his imagination for something exciting and different.

The following ideas are a few creative suggestions. Come up with your own ideas to fit your fantasy (and the layout of your house!)

You have a broken pipe, miss?

You've surely heard of this role play scenario - a lonely housewife calls a plumber to fix her pipes (ahem) and in comes a strapping, broad-shouldered plumber who's more than happy to fix the plumbing AND her loneliness.

This particular role play requires no special costumes or props, though you might ask your honey to wear a tool belt (and nothing else?) while you, the lonely housewife, might be wearing a pretty lingerie set (we said she's lonely, but she can still be sexy, right?).

Hot for teacher

If you want to try a little domination and submission, consider the hot teacher and naughty student role play scenario. This scenario also requires no special costumes, though you certainly could add a school uniform to up the element of this role play.

In this scenario, the teacher is the dominator and needs to discipline her student (perhaps with a little smack on the tush). You could require that the "student" sit in a time out (during which he must take whatever "punishment" the teacher doles out), or he performs whatever act the teacher requires of him.

Support the classics

There's a reason that the French Maid costume is still one of the most popular outfits at lingerie and costume stores. It's sexy, burlesque, a little naughty and can provide for a variety of entertaining and creative role play.

One of the best aspects of the French Maid costume is its enduring nature. You can use it for role play, or just to spice things up in the same way you would use another piece of lingerie. Don't forget your feather duster!

Consider other costumes

To help with the romance and to set the mood, look into purchasing romantic couples costumes to help you along. They're not only for Halloween!

If you purchase angel and devil costumes, or pirate and damsel in distress costumes, the scenario is already set for you. Close the curtains and watch an appropriate movie. To create the atmosphere, agree beforehand which room is actually the pirate captain's personal quarters. Dress the part and create a narrative and erotic back story together. Sink into the suspension of disbelief, and finally go for all out fun and excitement by continuing the story in person.
